With the U-Pass and health plan being the two biggest budget lines under the purview of the SFUO, it’s worth asking: should the university administration step in and clean up the mess that their students have made?
Since the voting period ended on Feb. 11, three recounts were held, with results being released on Feb. 16. While Jeffry Colin had originally won the position of vice-president of university affairs, his opponent, Axel Ngamije Gaga won the recount by a margin of 155 votes.

The latest Board of Administration (BOA) meeting was held on Aug. 16, and saw discussion on 101 Week updates, the budget for the year, along with a report by the comptroller general.
The motion cited concerns that details about the position are “inaccessible to students, being absent from the SFUO constitution,” and that the holder of the position is not required to be a student.
