Titled Point and Place, this collection of video stills captures Kelsey McGruer’s organic movement around her cottage, exploring what she describes as her “ancestral home” in a totally new way.
All four artists featured in the exhibit are showing paintings inspired by elements of varying disciplines, including biology, the human body, psychology, and landscape.
Art Battle began as a monthly event in a Vancouver pub about five years ago. It has since swept the nation, with competitions being held in almost every major Canadian city.
