The fact that university students are unable to identify offensive costumes, leading student unions to have to publish guidelines, is frankly, ridiculous.

The University of Ottawa novice synchronized swim team won the national championship at Brock University, competing in a series of events from Feb. 16-18. The competitive club hasn’t looked back.
The Gee-Gees defeated the Brock University Badgers on Nov. 18 and lost to the York Lions on Nov. 19, both games needing extra time to decide the winner.
It is unreasonable to expect every moment of a traumatic event to be remembered in perfect detail, because that simply isn’t how the mind works. Especially if you consider that these assaults allegedly occurred up to 12 years ago, and these women probably tried their best to forget them at that time.
