Despite terrible weather conditions, the University of Ottawa women’s rugby team national championship homecoming was a success. The Gee-Gees delivered a strong performance in front of the Ottawa faithfull defeating the Calgary Dinos 18-7.
Adding to the list of accolades for the Gee-Gees women’s soccer team, the Ottawa Sports Awards committee has selected head coach Steve Johnson for male coach of the year.
