The University of Ottawa’s varsity teams that play in the Réseau du Sports Étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) do not currently know when they will resume their season. Meanwhile, teams that play in Ontario University Athletics (OUA) are set to resume play this weekend — a tough pill to swallow for RSEQ athletes.
Emotions were high on Saturday afternoon following the women’s hockey team’s loss to McGill. The program, which enjoyed a renaissance of sorts this year in the second half of the season, said goodbye to a number of longtime players.
