The U of O men’s hockey team opened up the season on the road in Montreal on Thursday, beating McGill 3-2 in Quinn O’Brien’s first regular-season game as captain. The Vinton, Que. native is the third player to wear the “C” for the Gee-Gees after Eric Locke and Gabriel Vermette since the re-inception of the program in 2016.
