The University of Ottawa announced a switch from Gmail to Outlook in the 2020 spring/summer semester. The move has led to a number of complaints by students. The most recent: spam emails.
The University of Ottawa has been in the process of switching student accounts from G Suite to Outlook since the beginning of September.
In an announcement sent out by the Information Technology Department at the University of Ottawa, all students’ emails will be migrated from Google’s mail platform Gmail, to Microsoft’s Outlook platform.
