The University of Ottawa Students’ Union voted to shift its executive structure at a Board of Directors meeting on Sunday, resurrecting the president position and adding a student services commissioner to its leadership team.

After a semester-long debate, the UOSU has come to a decision about the club status of the anti-abortion group University of Ottawa Students for Life.
The UOSU unanimously passed a motion on Sunday at their Board of Directors meeting to take a pro-choice stance on abortion, but they did not make any decisions on the anti-abortion club’s official status or how their pro-choice stance would impact that status.
