Finalists in the Fulcrum’s ugly Christmas sweater contest
Ugly Christmas sweaters are known for their large, ostentatious visuals, overly cheesy decorations, and bright colours. These are the kinds of sweaters that could be used as rescue beacons on extremely snowy night or mistaken for being part of the holiday-themed decor in a storefront window display.
However, these gaudy articles of clothing have become a popular, iconic fashion statement in recent years, with people starting parties centred around them as far back as 2001.
We here at the Fulcrum would like to uphold this tradition, and therefore present you with the finalists of our 2016 ugly Christmas sweater contest.
Also, for those of you who want to know, the reindeer won!
