THE SCORE TELEVISION Network and Gillette announced the return of Drafted: The Search for Canada’s Next Sportscaster and are looking for applicants within university communities.

Now entering its fifth season, the show invites Canadian sports fans to audition for a one-year contract as a sportscaster for The Score, along with a one-year spokesperson contract with Gillette Canada.

Interested applicants can apply online starting May 4 or audition in person for the touring Drafted team at their Halifax, Calgary, Vancouver, and Toronto stops throughout the summer. Twenty-four individuals will be picked, and the number will be narrowed down to six finalists for the television series.

Viewers will be able to vote for their favourite contestants on the show. The new season is expected to air later this year, with the winner being announced on the finale mid-November.
