The University of Ottawa women’s basketball team started their weekend on the road, taking on the Guelph Gryphons on Friday, before heading north to take on the Algoma Thunderbirds on Sunday.

The Guelph Gryphons and Algoma Thunderbirds gave it their all this weekend but it wasn’t enough to beat the No. 3 nationally ranked Gee-Gees. Calvin Epistola, Borys Minger, and Kevin Civil had themselves a nice weekend on the court as the Gees overpowered Guelph 88-70 and Algoma 88-67.
