Facing a hot goalie, the Gee-Gees were dominant and outshot their opponents, but after two periods Patrick Grandmaitre’s boys were down by one.
Reading Time: 3 minutesBrendan Jacome scored two goals late in the third period of Friday night’s game to keep the Gee-Gees alive in their best of three series with the UQTR Patriotes. Teammates Kevin Domingue and Jacob Sweeney added empty netters to secure the win for the Gees, who took the game 5-3.
Reading Time: 5 minutesGee-Gees defenceman Jean-Robin Mantha was back on the ice for the first time since the 2017-18 season on Sunday night. Mantha, who’s been fighting testicular cancer for the last year and a half, looked to bring the Gee-Gees a win against the RMC Paladins.
