This last season, the lockdown defender was called on to be the heart and soul of the Gees’ system. He started all 17 games that he participated in and averaged 14.9 points a game to go along with an incredible, career-high 2.9 steals per contest.

This year, Tome is demonstrating her ability to be a versatile player, contributing both offensively and defensively. A left-handed hitter, Tome is averaging a career-high 1.22 kills per set this season, a very good mark considering she spends most of the time setting up her teammates.

After his breakout year, Stewart would become the go-to option of new starting QB Derek Wendel. The pair would soon become one of the most deadly offensive combinations in the nation.

Her production on the pitch made her one of the Gees’ most powerful weapons, as the team utilized her stellar defence and precise kicking to wear down their opponents.
