The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) have identified all ten individuals shown in photos from the night of the Panda Game on Oct. 2. New photos have been released identifying more individuals of interest in the investigation.

“These behaviours are unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Investigators have been assigned to identify anyone who committed crimes. The OPS will also work with the University of Ottawa and Carleton University staff where students from those were involved in these behaviours,” wrote OPS in a press release.
Five students with mental health issues point to gaps in the school’s mental health system, including staggeringly long wait times, poor training of professors, and a lack of specialized counsellors.
An independent investigation into the carding and handcuffing of a Black U of O student by Protection Services this summer has found both race and inadequate training played a role in the incident. A second investigation into the broader policies governing campus security is still ongoing.
Obviously, a single OPP investigation pales in comparison to the troves of data held by CSIS, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t similarities, especially if the OPP expands its use of bulk gathering phone numbers.
The Student Federation of the University of Ottawa (SFUO) said in a statement release to the Fulcrum that the University of Ottawa is investigating an alleged sexual assault that occurred within a student-run club.
