Tyler Steeves TreeWell Maple Sap Beverage

Tyler Steeves’ campaign to fund his venture TreeWell Maple Sap Beverage ended Nov. 20 with nearly 150 per cent of his goal raised. The non-alcoholic carbonated drink was inspired by a family trip to a maple farm in 2011. After developing the recipe for the maple beverage, TreeWell is using the funds from the Kickstarter campaign for glass bottles, corks, wire hoods, wax, and labels to ship their product for the Christmas 2013 season[/one_third]

 Adele Reeves More than Maple Syrup documentary

Adele Reeves’ campaign to fund her documentary More than Maple Syrup finished Oct. 10 with nearly 65 per cent of her goal raised. Reeves and her husband travelled across Canada in a van with a video camera in search of the defining elements of Canadian identity. The funds were intended to hire an animator, pay for editing, music rights, and submission fees to screen at festivals across Canada.

 Ryan Malcolm-Campbell King of Arts Clothing

Ryan Malcolm-Campbell is a former U of O varsity basketball player who started a fashion line, King of Arts, after being cut from the team. His Kickstarter campaign finishes Dec. 9 with a goal of $3,000. While his campaign had reached less than 10 per cent of his goal as of Dec. 2, Campbell plans to continue to promote his fashion line at the upcoming HerCampus Fashion Show on Jan. 25.
