Where to find it: Brothers Beer Bistro in the ByWard Market
This grapefruit-coloured beer looks and tastes like the cold and alcoholic equivalent of a herbal tea. Despite its fruity flavour and sour finish, Rosée D’Hibiscus is not a beer for the beach. I’d recommend this strong wheat ale for catching up with a friend over afternoon pints, cozy around a fire.
It’s not the best beer available at Brothers Beer Bistro, but definitely worth your time if you want to try something new. If fruity beers aren’t your thing, try something else from Dieu du Ciel. It’s one of the highest-rated brewery in Canada and a tasty reminder of how far Ontario brewers have to go before they catch up with their Quebec counterparts.
