Dear Di,
All my buddies use Viagra, even though they don’t have any issues getting their dicks up. Lately they’ve been pushing me to do the same, but I’m not sure why. My junk works just fine, but my friends promise that I’ll be harder and last longer. Is it safe for young men to take the medication, or am I right to tell them to fuck off?
—Why Bother with the Little Blue Pill?
Dear WBLBP,
You’re right to question your friends. Viagra is the brand name given to the drug Sildenafil which treats erectile dysfunction and pulmonary arterial hypertension. If you’re not suffering from those issues, there is definitely no reason to pop any of the pills your pals are pushing.
Side effects can include headaches and indigestion, and even loss of peripheral and full vision. Why take those risks? Plus, chances are the Viagra these young men got their hands on didn’t come from a legitimate pharmacy. If they haven’t spoken with their doctors and are instead buying knock-off brands, like the ones we all get emails about, there’s a way higher probability of unknown or contaminated ingredients making their way into the pills.
On top of the risks, studies have shown the common benefits thought to be associated with Viagra use in young men who take the drug recreationally are totally bullshit. There’s no evidence that the drug increases libido, improves performance, or grows your little solider into a bigger man.
Don’t bother with Viagra. The best way for youth to achieve extraordinary erections is by getting regular exercise, eating healthy, and not smoking. Whoever you’re fucking will probably appreciate those efforts too; not only will your dick be in top condition, but your aerobic abilities and strength will be as well. Happy banging!
Love,
Di
