The University of Ottawa Students’ Union held its Fall General Assembly virtually on Monday night. The meeting adjourned just before midnight, giving the FGA a run time of under five hours, a noted improvement from last year’s seven hour meeting.

“Recruits are often told ‘welcome to the family’ when they join. This is my first Remembrance Day as a member of the CAF, and so this year, I also feel like Remembrance Day is about appreciating that family,” said Robert Parsons, a reservist in the Canadian Armed Forces and a U of O student.
Nothing More is beloved by their fans largely because of their lyrics, which openly and bluntly draw from dark experiences in the band members’ lives, but present these stories with hopeful messages of self-improvement and perseverance.
“Just because they’re young, doesn’t mean they don’t have a voice, and they are our future. I really look to our young to be the ones that are going to make the positive changes. Our youth need to be emphasized,” said Paul Durst.
