“I think a lot of them were intrigued by the story, by the text, by the way it was written because it’s not your regular realistic drama—it goes way beyond that,” explained director Melina Buziak. “The characters often break the fourth wall and refer directly to the audience and the text is really intriguing.”

With boundless energy and enthusiasm galore, the raucous theatre troupe of Sex T-Rex roared into the University of Ottawa’s Academic Hall on Aug. 25, bringing with them their two riotous shows.
The production was held March 12–13 at Academic Hall, with all proceeds from the tickets, food sales, and their silent auction going to Operation Come Home, an Ottawa charity that supports over 1,200 homeless and street-associated youth a year.
