The Gee-Gees women’s rugby team have won the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) championship for the fourth year in a row, defeating the University of Laval in a hardfought game.
Gee-Gees managed to eke out the tough 25-17 win for the conference championship crown.
“It truly was a team effort,” he said. “We are more of a team this year than perhaps other years. Other years we may have had more individual talent, but collectively this team has really performed well all season.”
