Calvin Bidley has been suspended by intramurals commissioner Roger Baddell for gambling on his own team’s games. Bidley alleges he bet against his team and then threw the games to make beer money.

The fall season has looked much different than usual for all University of Ottawa athletic teams. In addition to the cancellation of regular season games and activities, Gee-Gees teams are following new guidelines to ensure that athletes and coaches are partaking in their sport safely.
Intramural sports will be played this fall, however they will include a few more rules than last year.
University of Ottawa students who played in intramural leagues during the winter semester will be eligible for a 15 per cent refund on league fees following the cancellation of all campus sports and recreation on March 17 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
