While the uoAlert program has been around for several years, the University of Ottawa has recently made significant changes to it, adding new features, tools, and troubleshooting to improve speed and efficiency.

At the University of Ottawa, varsity tryouts—where any student can show up in the hopes of making the final roster—are in large part declining in popularity and effectiveness.

The street was lined with an array of businesses, banks, political parties, and charitable organizations—like the Foundation for Wellness Professionals of Ottawa—all standing in solidarity and support for the promotion of LGBTQ+ rights.
