The club’s mission is to introduce “a sense of what extra-curricular life is truly like at uOttawa.” said the club’s president, Justin Patrick.

You’re going to get knocked down, but you just have to get back up and keep pushing forward. It might take you six years to finish your undergrad degree, but you just got to get up and keep going.
“But because of the amounts of people at last week’s meeting we switched to a format of one person going up to the front of the room and complaining into a microphone while the rest of the group had to listen quietly. It really took away the organic feel of weather talk.”
Between midterms, papers, roommate issues, and relationship drama, it can be easy to feel like you need a hug. Students who feel overwhelmed will be glad to know there is now a club dedicated solely to making others happy.
Members of the recently founded club are actively recruiting new members who want to learn about vegetarianism and veganism, and those who want to help raise awareness and advocate for animal rights.
