n the last three years, football has seen a rise in the number of prominent black quarterbacks and has been described as the golden era of black quarterbacks. It is not a coincidence that in these past seasons, we have also heard of dual-threat quarterbacks, referring to quarterbacks who can run just as well as they throw.

Football players are modern-day gladiators and all of us that tune in on Feb. 2 are the Romans cheering them on. We cheer with every monstrous collision while understanding the mental illness it causes.

The new team names will take effect immediately. Among other changes, the New England Patriots will now be referred to as the Dirty Micks, the New York Giants will be changed to the Cheap Jews, and the Miami Dolphins will be renamed the Blackskins.
