Café Nostalgica closed in March 2020 at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Almost five years later, its doors have remained closed — but management has big plans for the space.

Cafe Nostalgica, the boo-loved student pub, known for its charming atmosphere and open mic nights, has been converted into a Spirit Halloween for the upcoming holiday.
While a reopening date remains to be set, students can rest assured that Nostalgica’s closure is not permanent.

Café Nostalgica reopened its doors Aug. 17, and even in its newness it was strangely familiar.
After a year of anticipation, students will notice significant improvements: the café now boasts a doubled interior square footage and the layout has also been improved, allowing patrons to view live entertainment from anywhere in the room. A new sound system will only add to the restored space.
